Hi all! My name is Caroline. In June I graduated from UO with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I have about 10 years of experience with all ages of kids from nannying, child care specialist, and assistant teacher and would love to help families out! I am a current graduate student at UO now pursuing my Masters in Education and would love to babysit/nanny on the side! I am looking for Weekend gigs for a regular nannying position or date nights here and there! I am also available a bit during the week as well! Please feel free to message me with any further questions! :)

I am a passionate individual looking to continue my path in childcare work. I have spent a year as a private nanny for a 3 month baby girl and greatly enjoyed getting close with the family and my most recent work this year being with a 12 month old baby girl and nanny for a 4 year old boy! As well as regular babysitting for families in need of extra care. My main excitement when working with children is watching developmental milestone and creating enriching activities to support their learning needs. I also have a love for expanding creative minds and having fun!

I am the owner of a local Preschool (The Book Nook Preschool). I am a STEP 10 on the Oregon registry Steps program. I have three beautiful children (11, 8 & 3.5 years). I own a nice home in the North Gilham/Cal Young area. We love to go walks and play at the park. I love to play on the floor and read books all day long! I own my own car (a beautiful MOM VAN- 2010 Honda Odyssey). You can expect tons of pictures (and cute videos) of your littles sent to you each day ( I have been a photographer for over 10 years)! I am an U Of O grad! Also, went back to school for Early Childhood at PSU. I have over 30 years of experience. I was hired as a teacher in the children's program at Parenting Now. I have worked at The Child Center and been a personal nanny for years. I have actually been babysitting since I was eight! (I know)! If you have a little one 3-6.5 they can join my preschool! If not, I would love to take on a part-time nanny position. Either afternoons, after school care or weekends. I would love for you to bring your little(s) to my home. I provide a safe, loving and caring environment. I am patient and compassionate. I would treat them as my own! I am first aid/CPR certified and my background check is on file with the state of Oregon. If this sounds like something you would be interested in feel free to message me! I look forward to hearing from you soon!!!

I'm just finishing up my first year of college and looking for a job over the summer. I grew up in a big family and helped take care of children since I was young. Through middle school and highschool family friends paid me to watch their children. I enjoy taking care of kids and getting to embrace my inner child while caring for them. I can also help with homework, coming for them and meal prepping for dinner, taking care of a pet, and cleaning the house as needed as well. Feel free to call me!

Hi! My name is Caroline. I’m 21 and a senior at the University of Oregon. I have lots of experience with kids and would absolutely love to help out. I started nannying when I was 16 and cared for a family with five kids, ages 1–11. Last year, I worked regularly for a family with a 3- and 5-year-old. I’m comfortable with things like meal prep, potty training, school pick-up and drop-off, driving to activities, bedtime routines, and even weekend getaways. I truly adore kids and love being present with them. I’m big on limiting screen time and coming up with fun, creative activities that make childhood feel special—stories, forts, games, and imaginative play (something my older sister always did for me growing up). But obviously I love a good movie Since I’m in my last year of college, I’m looking for something flexible. Getting to care for kids and be part of making their childhood happy and memorable would be really special to me, especially during a busy school year. I’m a psychology major and plan to attend graduate school in the near future to become a licensed therapist. In my free time, I love running, baking, reading, snowboarding, scuba diving, and hiking. I’d love to grab coffee and chat—please feel free to reach out :)

Greetings Honored Parents! Here is some relevant information about me, your Potential Perfect Sitter: I love spending time with children of all ages. I raised 3 successful kids (now adults), 2 of whom I home-schooled until middle school. We belonged to a homeschooling group, so I am adept at connecting and tutoring kids of all ages and backgrounds. From 2018-2020, I worked as an Educational Assistant in the 4J School District, grades K-12. My philosophy when it comes to parenting/childcare is this: when children know they are loved, they feel confident to pursue and achieve their ideas, goals, dreams. Children feel loved when these (short list) conditions are present: listening, playing, creating, exploring, validating, learning, synergy with friends/family/caregivers. I'm a great believer in giving children freedom to explore their interests and surroundings, while providing healthy boundaries and appropriate structure. Spending time outside in nature, doing arts/crafts; and playing games are mainstays of my childcare mojo. I'm not a huge fan of allowing kids to spend their precious time and talents in front of a screen, or on social media, unless it forwards educational or other specified goals. Regarding discipline - my belief is that if a child acts out or is disruptive, they are either not getting their needs met; or are testing boundaries. Children 0-3 typically cry or tantrum due to not getting their needs met - dirty diaper, hungry, tired, need to be held and rocked/bounced. The solutions to these issues are obvious and relatively easy. Children ages 3-13 may act out due to not getting their needs met. But may also act out to test boundaries. What to do when a child in your care is acting out to test boundaries? I have an excellent theory of case and method, and would love to share it with you. I look forward to hearing from you, Honored Parent!

I am 20 years old, from Chicago, and I am currently a student at University of Colorado Boulder. I was a camp counselor and lifeguard at a YMCA sleep away summer camp in Michigan for three years. I love working with kids and also previously had a volunteer position at the Field Museum of Chicago teaching kids about different exhibits throughout the museum. This past summer I volunteered teaching children ages 6-13 English in Thailand. Additionally I have had childcare experience almost my whole life as I have three younger sisters that I have watched often for as long as I can remember.
