Hi, I'm Ella! I have recently moved to the US from England. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in adult nursing in 2015 and have worked as a registered nurse in the UK since then. Whist it is my long-term goal to get my RN license here, I would like to take a break from nursing whilst I settle in and do something else that I love. I know it’s challenging to find someone you like and trust enough to care for your child/ren. I hope I can assure you that I am a trustworthy, caring and compassionate individual. I can provide personal references on request. Whilst babysitting for me has been an occasional role, around studying and work as a nurse, it is one I have always enjoyed. I have babysat for friends, family and acquaintances; I have always loved kids and enjoy engaging with them. I have Read more experience in communicating with children at different developmental stages (kids aged 4-12). I can adapt to the requirements of the child/ren and wider family in creating fun, creative and educational activities. I would love to hear from you and discuss how I can help support your child/ren. I am flexible with availability as currently not working another job. I am also happy to care for pets. Hobbies and interests (to help you get to know me) I have a miniature dachshund named Monty. He has moved from the UK with me, I always wonder if the other dogs think that he barks with an English accent. I guess we'll never know. I love taking Monty for walks and doing fun training with him (he's not quite grasped fetch yet). He's also great for cuddling up to on a rainy day, whilst reading a good book. When I'm not working (or hanging out with Monty), I like to be social and meet friends. I always keep active by training in the gym and taking yoga classes. My favourite movie: ALL of the Harry Potter series. My favourite series: Friends, Ted Lasso and Gavin & Stacey.
