I am an all around loving woman who loves to be of any help. I have been working with children all my life and have been babysitting since I was 13. I studied early childhood development at Portland Community College before moving on to Northwest Nannies where I became a certified professional nanny. i have work experience in a certified home daycare where I helped care for 12 children four of which were under 2. I'm pretty easy to get along with and just love to laugh and play with children. I love taking children on fun field trips to the zoo, , the park, or I let them pick as long as its a reasonable place. I have a safe insured reliable vehicle, with a pretty good driving record. I used to be an AuPair in Beaverton for 1 year and 7 months. I watched three kids: a 10 months-old, a 3.5 years-old and a 5.5 years-old. I was in charge of waking them up, preparing meals, make sure they brush their teeth, preparing baby’s bottle, changing diapers, dropping off and picking up the older ones to school, takings them to the park to play, setting playdates with friends, to the library, potty training, teaching the little one to speak (I used to speak to him Spanish and he understood very well!) and to walk. It was an amazing experience! I left and dedicated myself to my career (I got a bachelors degree in Mass communication) around the world: Mexico, Venezuela and Spain. I just came back to the US and my previous host family received me to stay while I set everything up here. The younger kid is now 7 years-old! Before coming to Beaverton I spent a month in Chicago, since my sister lives there and I took care of 2 siblings: a 3 years old girl and a 8 years old boy. I can give you references and my resume. I have been a nanny/babysitter for as long as I can remember! I absolutely love kids and teaching them fun new things and sports! Other then nannying I have coached volleyball for the past 8 years anywhere from 6th grade to High School Varsity. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology with a specialization in child development and after that plans of getting a Master in mental health counseling for school aged kids! The most kids I've watched at once not including playdates was 4 at a time and it was a blast. I would say that I am a very flexible and understanding person and am always happy to to grow and change with your family’s needs. I think it's very important to build a good relationship with the kid(s) and parent(s) so it's a nice experience for everyone. I love getting outside and playing and even going on day trips to explore! I am fully vaccinated and have my own car (with 7 seats) including two toddler car seats and a clean driving record! I come from a family of 10 of us.(19080s) I am on the younger end . At 7 years old I started baby sitting my infant niece and from their on out a new nephew or niece was born each year. Sometimes multiples… Now I’m in my 40s blessed with 2 littles of my own. Looking for work while having my children as well. I have 2 seats available in my vehicle if needed to run children around. My children are 2 and 6 year old girls .. we love to stay active. We go to many parks . We play softball. 6 year old is already hitting without the tee.
