I have worked with children of a variety of ages in the Portland, Oregon Metro. area for many years.  At times I have worked for private family residences as a Nanny, other times I have worked for local Day Schools as a Lead Teacher. Most recently, my work has been as a Nanny. I have worked with infants and young toddlers age range from 0-3 years. Additionally, I hold certification in "Advance Child Care Training", and Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certification. I am a non-smoker, and reliable. I have a AAS Degree in Business, additionally I have completed several Child Development courses through “Portland Community College-Sylvania Campus”, and various online sources. I enjoy time with kids so much, specially with little ones. I speak Spanish, English and basic French. Also, I am an outdoor person and I really love arts, specially singing! I used to be an AuPair in Beaverton for 1 year and 7 months. I watched three kids: a 10 months-old, a 3.5 years-old and a 5.5 years-old. I was in charge of waking them up, preparing meals, make sure they brush their teeth, preparing baby’s bottle, changing diapers, dropping off and picking up the older ones to school, takings them to the park to play, setting playdates with friends, to the library, potty training, teaching the little one to speak (I used to speak to him Spanish and he understood very well!) and to walk. It was an amazing experience! I left and dedicated myself to my career (I got a bachelors degree in Mass communication) around the world: Mexico, Venezuela and Spain. I just came back to the US and my previous host family received me to stay while I set everything up here. The younger kid is now 7 years-old! Before coming to Beaverton I spent a month in Chicago, since my sister lives there and I took care of 2 siblings: a 3 years old girl and a 8 years old boy. I can give you references and my resume. I come from a family of 10 of us.(19080s) I am on the younger end . At 7 years old I started baby sitting my infant niece and from their on out a new nephew or niece was born each year. Sometimes multiples… Now I’m in my 40s blessed with 2 littles of my own. Looking for work while having my children as well. I have 2 seats available in my vehicle if needed to run children around. My children are 2 and 6 year old girls .. we love to stay active. We go to many parks . We play softball. 6 year old is already hitting without the tee. She also plays in LO soccer club and goes to mountain park church for 1st grade. I can only watch 2 children at a time being that only 2 will fit in my vehicle in the event of an emergency.
