Hi! My name is Kara, and I am a third year medical student at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Honors College in 2015. I am 25 years old, and am the eldest of three children. My interests include: volunteering with older adults, singing/playing the piano, golfing, and participating in research. My family lives in the Devon/Berwyn area.  I have 12 years of paid childcare experience, and am certified in both First-Aid and CPR. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations and have all associated clearances needed for medical school (eg., yearly FBI fingerprinting, background check, and child abuse clearances). I also am comfortable with pets. Although I am currently completing my clinical rotations, I am looking for a way to earn some money and augment my student loans. Mainly, I am looking for consistent or occasional child Read more care positions, on weekdays or on weekends, in the Ardmore, Wynnewood, Narberth, Villanova, or Bryn Mawr areas. I am able to help with laundry, light housework, dinner/meal preparation, grocery shopping, picking up/dropping off children, homework, et cetera. I am always looking for ways to keep children active and engaged, whether this is achieved through reading, music, being outside, baking, or participating in arts and crafts activities. As a caregiver, it is my job to adhere to the wishes and rules of the parent. I am communicative, flexible, and willing to help in any way I can.
