I have worked with kids since I was about 12 years old, from a mommas helper to babysitting, nannying, interning at a foster care, working at a daycare and working as a one on one for kids with special needs. At 16 I was babysitting 3 children, 40 hours a week during the summer. When I started going to college I used Sittercity to help find families that were in need of a sitter during the times I was not working or in school. I have babysat for multiple families using this site and have kept in touch with a few. Once I graduated from college I decided I definitely wanted to work with children.
