Hello! I am a graduate of UMGC Global and have my Bachelors in Developmental Psychology, currently working towards my Masters in School Social Work. I work with students with disabilities in the behavioral department. I’m looking for weekend work and summer work while my students are on summer vacation! Jordyn has been a fantastic help in caring for our twins. She has been punctual and pleasant. The one time that she was running late she called us well in advance to let us know. I am working from home and as such I have the privilege of checking in with my kids through the work day. It's clear that when she's with the kids she's engaging with them and not just jumping up to look busy. They go outside to play. They do activities. They sit and have quiet time. She is not someone that needs prompting to engage with them and that's huge. My kids love her and when she goes home after a long day they ask me to take them to her house. I cannot recommend her more if you have the opportunity to hire her.

Helping kids feel safe, confident, and cared for is incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s reading stories, building forts, helping with homework, or just listening to their big ideas, I value the chance to be a positive, dependable person in a family’s daily life. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, and a little fun mixed into their routine. I have hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and personalities—from energetic toddlers to independent preteens. I’ve supported families with school drop-offs and pickups, bedtime routines, meal prep, and light household help. I’m comfortable adapting to each family’s schedule and parenting style. Parents describe me as reliable, calm, and someone their kids look forward to seeing. I’m attentive, organized, and safety-focused. I can help with homework, creative activities, age-appropriate learning, and keeping routines consistent. I’m comfortable preparing meals, managing medications as directed, and assisting with pets or errands when needed. Most importantly, I communicate openly with parents so you always feel informed and at ease while you’re away. Certifications can be obtained, if required. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide care that feels warm, trustworthy, and tailored to your child’s needs.

Roxanne stayed at our family’s home while we were away for two weeks. She did a tremendous job. She’s very trustworthy, and we came back to our house looking better than when we left! Definitely recommend!

Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Every child is unique, and I love building connections with them, helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s reading stories, playing games, or helping with homework, I find a lot of joy in being someone they can trust and have fun with. It’s also rewarding to support parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. What experience do you have? I currently work at the Kids Klub at LA Fitness, where I care for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. These experiences have given me strong skills in supervision, engagement, and adapting to different children's needs and personalities. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

I'm a current college freshman, majoring in psychology and criminal justice. I'm trying to help out my community as well as earn income while in school. I have experience working with kids - I've taken care of my two younger sisters for as long as I can remember. I also worked at a summer camp with kids around kindergarten age. Additionally, I recently started working at a daycare on weekdays. My new job does limit my availability, however, if you're looking for someone with complete weekend availability, look no further! I am CPR & First Aid certified. I'm comfortable caring for children aged one and up. I know how to do diaper changing. I'm skilled with housekeeping, pets, and meal prep. I also have my own reliable car. I have a patient, energetic, adventurous personality & I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities! Feel free to contact me with questions or to set up a meeting!

I've always known I wanted to work with children. I started working at a children's center in high school and continued throughout college. I have worked as a preschool assistant teacher, a preschool teacher, a substitute teacher, and then a special education teacher all in Pennsylvania in a span of about ten years. I am currently an EC teacher in North Carolina. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities, reading, and crafting.

As the second oldest of seven children and the oldest girl, I learned how to care for children at a very early age. I was mature and responsible enough at age 11 to begin caring for children outside of my family, and so I began working on weekday afternoons and weekends for local families. Since then - over the past 26 years - I have worked "publicly" in church nurseries and a daycare and also "privately" in the homes of individual families as a nanny, babysitter, and tutor. I continue to work with children because I truly love it, and I feel privileged to be able to do so.
