Growing up in a home that provided foster care to many children, I learned to value from a young age the importance of curiosity, play, teaching at an appropriate level, and the impact of engaged care on developing minds. I have spent time working with children of all ages in paid babysitting/nannying positions, as well as counseling kids 5-18 at a summer camp for the past 4 years. I am currently a student working towards a degree as an occupational therapy assistant to eventually work with young children as an OTA. In addition to spending time with children, I love being outdoors (swimming, hiking, kayaking), practicing yoga, and reading. I am (mostly) fluent in Spanish and have spent many weeks in Mexico volunteering at an orphanage and learning to cook some favorite meals. I can't wait until a time when I can spend more time exploring the world! Especially during this difficult time as parents navigate working from home, school, and safety for their families, I want to provide families with a sense of comfort and safety as I provide the care your family needs. I have all of my clearances, my own transportation, and CPR certification. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Every child is unique, and I love building connections with them, helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s reading stories, playing games, or helping with homework, I find a lot of joy in being someone they can trust and have fun with. It’s also rewarding to support parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. What experience do you have? I currently work at the Kids Klub at LA Fitness, where I care for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 4 years old. These experiences have given me strong skills in supervision, engagement, and adapting to different children's needs and personalities. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

With eight years of experience working and volunteering in multiple settings for children and those with varying needs, I have garnered an appreciation for helping others learn and grow. I hold credits it early childhood education and have multiple certifications including CPR/First-Aid. All clearances can be provided immediately. I love to do art projects, make reading enjoyable, and spend time outside whenever possible. I'm willing to help out with some housework, errands, and transportation if requested. My experience as a childcare worker is extensive. I have been a nanny, babysitter, household assistant, pet-sitter, and caregiver. Hi! My name is Angela Lyle. I am from a large family with ten children and have frequently watched my younger siblings when my parents went out. I am studying at Franciscan University of Steubenville to become a teacher and will be certified for special education grades k-12 and general education grades k-5. I babysat for multiple different families all throughout high school, and many of these families had four or more children. I also nannied 9 1/2 hours a week for a family with three children for a year and a half at the end of high school. My younger brother has Down Syndrome so I am familiar with working with kids with disabilities and have a place in my heart for them.

I am a psychology major at Duquesne University with a 3.5 gpa. I grew up with little siblings. I have a 7 year old brother and he is my main source of experience. Taking care of him the past 7 years and watching him grow up has been the biggest joy of my life. I love being around children and would love to be able to do it more!

I am a straight A student, with multiple leadership positions on campus. I work with kids often as I am a camp counselor every summer for at risk, intellectually gifted children, I’ve been a babysitter for years, and (as I’m a former wrestler) I run wrestling clinics for elementary and middle school aged children. I love debate, TV shows, food, wrestling, and public speaking. I founded the happiness/kindness club at my high school, so the people or things you love are safe with me. P.S. I have a 3 hour minimum for jobs, as driving across town doesn't become worth it for less time.
