I started my journey with kids in high school and got my first daycare job at 15 while going to a technical school for early education. I won county competitions for lesson planning and competed in state competitions as well. I loved that I could have a positive impact on kids lives and later found out they were doing the same for me. I continued seeking out new ways I could improve my skill and became a registered behavioral technician for children along the way. I have been assigned mostly students with autism in classroom, clinical, and home settings. I have prior experience with nannying with a family I would do summers with for 3 years and babysat for during illness or holidays for 2 prior. I am comfortable with behavioral therapy and functional communication training with devices, baby asl, and verbal help.
