Hi ! My name is Ellisha Reed and I graduated from Chestnut Hill College in May 2019. I hold a bachelors degree in Human services with a minor in psychology. My courses included Psychology, Psychology Child and Adolescent Development, Psychology Counseling and Abnormal Child Psychology. I also took the course, World Justice and Care for Children. All of my courses have expanded my knowledge about children and their development. Currently, I have been working as an ABA Therapist working with children who need emotional support, positive guidance and 1 on 1 teaching. I am also an educator/Teacher in the Early Childhood Education field. I currently work with infants and toddlers. I am currently enrolled and taking a course to get my CDA certificate. Previously, I have experience in 3 different daycares, working with infants and then working with toddlers at another location. In addition, on some Saturdays I volunteer with Read more an non-profit organization at my church called Community Outreach Corporation. I help children with their reading, writing and math skills. Hearing the kids have fun and laugh while they are learning truly makes my day and allows me to have fun with them as well. As an Early Childhood Professional, I enjoy working with children because I know I am able to contribute to their physical, emotional and mental development. Reading books , singing songs, going for walks , working on activities, and introducing activities for fine and gross motor skills will allow me to help children and ensure that they having fun while learning.
