Ever since I myself was a little girl I knew I loved being around other children. I grew up wanting to be a pediatrician and now I'm in Physical Therapy school at Duke! I grew up spending a lot of time with kids of all ages at church, teaching them in Sunday school, taking them out on trips, and watching them while their parents were busy. Also, growing up in a family where my mom owns her own daycare, I've gotten a lot of exposure to how to work with all different personalities and lifestyles. I worked at the daycare for 2 years as a paid teacher and I learned an immense amount about how I can be the best for whatever child I am spending time with! I am very attentive to detail, I learn fast, and I have a silly side that most children end up loving. Being Read more a full-time student, I am looking for anyway that I can continue to fill my cup each day and being around happy children (and possibly pets) is one way I can do that!
