In high school around the age of 15, I began babysitting for several different families during after school hours, evenings, and some weekends. This included two families one with two girls ages 2 and 5 and one with two boys ages 3 and 5. In high school I worked for two summers and Christmas vacation at a daycare in NYC where I am from. I was an assistant teacher in several classrooms including with one year olds, three year olds, and the nursery. This was a great experience which taught me a lot. In the summer of 2017 I began working as a full-time nanny in Manhattan for two wonderful families doing a nanny share. I took care of their three beautiful girls everyday from 8:30-5:30 for over two years. When I started the youngest was 18 months and the two older ones were three years old. We did everything Read more from playgrounds to libraries to playdates and beyond. I loved my time with them and truly enjoyed watching them grow and develop. Once the youngest entered school in 2019, they no longer needed a full-time shared nanny so I knew it was time to move on despite how hard it was. In September 2019, I got another job taking care of a 16 month old girl three days a week. It was a perfect balance for me since I was preparing to move overseas for a language acquisition program in January 2020. We agreed that I would work for them for four months. It was a great opportunity and worked out well for both sides. I have loved and enjoyed every childcare position I have had. I love being able to bless families by being a trustworthy, experienced, and confident person they can leave their children with. I hope I can be that for you!
