I first started working with children when I was 12 (and am now 37) when I had my first babysitting job watching a 2 and 10 year old. Then in high school, tutoring elementary age children. I went on to work at Kindercare Academy while on break from college for my teaching certification. I worked with students from 3 months to age 5. I have also been lucky enough to watch my nieces and nephews since they were 3 months. The oldest is about to turn 16. The past 3 years I've spent teaching students with special needs in grades pk-1 and 3-6. I also have experience working with elementary students in 2nd grade through my student teaching.
