About Me: I am a childcare professional with 9+ years of experience working with children through babysitting, tutoring, mentoring, early childhood education, and private childcare. My background spans educational, daycare, after-school, and private-home settings. Childcare Experience: In January 2017, I began at Robots and Mentors, an after-school STEM program. As a mentor, I supervised children, supported academic learning, managed transitions, monitored behavior, and communicated with parents and leadership. I worked at multiple locations and participated in summer programming. In September 2018, I became a Lead Teacher at Bumble Bee Nursery, planning activities for children ages 3–5, managing classroom routines, and maintaining a structured learning environment. From December 2017 through 2023, I also provided individualized in-home tutoring with Niq Tutors, focusing on reading, mathematics, homework assistance, and building children’s confidence. . My Approach: I understand that every child is different. Some need structure and consistency, while others thrive with creativity, movement, conversation, and hands-on learning. I take time to understand each child’s personality, routine, and needs so the care feels comfortable and familiar. My goal is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in my care and for children to feel safe, respected, engaged, and genuinely cared for. Availability & Preferences; I am primarily interested in recurring childcare opportunities. I’m open to full-time, part-time, occasional and backup arrangements. In reference to week-day evenings, date-night, after-school, weekend, and backup arrangements, I would need to know in advance to schedule accordingly.
