I am currently working as a child therapist, looking for a part-time nannying job and weekend babysitting. I have all necessary clearances available, and vaccines (COVID and Flu). For two years (September 2020-August 2022) I was a full-time, live-in nanny for two children ages 1-5 in Washington, DC. Growing up in a home that provided foster care to many children, I learned to value from a young age the importance of curiosity, play, teaching at an appropriate level, and the impact of engaged care on developing minds. I have spent time working with children of all ages in paid babysitting/nannying positions, as well as counseling kids 5-18 at a summer camp for the past 4 years. I am a psychology major at Duquesne University with a 3.5 gpa. I grew up with little siblings. I have a 7 year old brother and he is my main source of experience. Taking care of him the past 7 years and watching him grow up has been the biggest joy of my life. I love being around children and would love to be able to do it more!
