Hi there! My name is Abby Greco and I am from Garnet Valley. I will be graduating high school in early June and going to Kutztown University at the end of August to major in Elementary Education. When I was a sophomore, I began to teach the children's chorus in my drama club which consisted of 60+ students between kindergarten and sixth grade. I would teach them the music, dancing, and acting to be performed on stage in front of full audiences. This really sparked my interest in children and teaching them. Ideally, I would love to one day own/manage a children's theatre to share my passion for the arts with the younger generations. When I'm not at rehearsal, I spend a lot of my time reading, baking, or doing DIY projects/crafts. I love to cook and spend quite a bit of time looking for fun recipes to make with Read more the children I watch, including them in the meal preparation. Additionally, I always try to encourage the kids that I watch to clean up after themselves as we find new activities to keep their minds from getting bored. I know how important it was for me growing up to play outside, either with the kids in my neighborhood or with my own babysitter, so I try to encourage as much outdoor time as possible. I have marked that I am comfortable with animals because I have two cats and a small dog so I am more than capable of taking care of your pets throughout the day but I am a small bit uncomfortable around large dogs.
