Meet Felicity

Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because caring for children has always been a meaningful part of my life. As the oldest sibling, I grew up helping care for younger children and naturally developed patience, responsibility, and a strong sense of nurturing. I enjoy being a positive influence and creating a safe, supportive environment where kids can thrive. What experience do you have? I have experience working as a camp counselor, where I supervised and engaged with children in both structured and unstructured activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. Currently, I am also preceptoring at Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center with a focus on pediatric ICU nursing, which has given me additional exposure to working with children and families in high-stress situations. What skills and training do you have? I hold active child abuse clearance training through Penn State, which ensures I Read more understand and follow child protection standards. Along with this, my nursing education has strengthened my skills in communication, safety awareness, and age-appropriate care. I am also trained in maintaining a calm, supportive presence in both everyday and more challenging situations.
