Hello! My name is Meghan Shepherd. I grew up in Philadelphia, PA and now reside in Hellertown, PA. I come from a large family. I am the youngest of five and have many nieces/nephews that I love and adore. Having the opportunity to care for them at a young age is where my love for babysitting blossomed years ago. I began working at The Goddard School in Delran, NJ after receiving an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education at Community College of Philadelphia. I worked as the head teacher in the Preschool classroom for three years before taking a job opportunity at Port Richmond Academy in Philadelphia, PA. I took on many roles at the academy from teaching different age groups to director responsibilities. After dedicating two years to the academy, I was offered a position for the Runnemede School District in New Jersey. I have worked as a paraprofessional Read more in the district for seven years where I had the opportunity to work in various school settings from inclusion to self contained classrooms. During my time as a paraprofessional, I went back to school to receive a bachelor’s degree in special education. I gave birth to my first child in November 2019. I am currently a stay at home Mom looking for a babysitting position where I am able to still care for my child as well as yours.
