With eight years of experience working and volunteering in multiple settings for children and those with varying needs, I have garnered an appreciation for helping others learn and grow. I graduated from Duquesne University with a 3.6 gpa and a psychology degree. I grew up with little siblings. I have a 9 year old brother and he is my main source of experience. Taking care of him the past 9 years and watching him grow up has been the biggest joy of my life. I now work as a family service worker for the state and am around children most of the day!

Growing up in a home that provided foster care to many children, I learned to value from a young age the importance of curiosity, play, teaching at an appropriate level, and the impact of engaged care on developing minds. I have spent time working with children of all ages in paid babysitting/nannying positions, as well as counseling kids 5-18 at a summer camp for the past 4 years.
