I currently have seven nieces and nephews and I’ve cared for two of them full time in the past. Girl 4 years old I cared for from 5 months old until she was 3 and my other niece is 3 and I cared for her for 6 months. I moved too far from the 4 year old when I got married to continue watching her and the 3 year old her mother decided to take on being a stay at home parent. All of my friends have kids so even in social settings I’m surrounded by children and it’s really shown me a skill set I never recognized I had. I’ve always loved kids, I love to cook homemade meals and I enjoy the flexibility of babysitting. I’d preferably like to find a permanent family to work for at least three days a week. I do require weekends off unless Read more discussed weeks in advance and only on occasion like date nights or concerts etc. I do not currently have certifications but I’d be willing to pay for a background check before employment if necessary and I would eventually like to get my cpr certifications for infants and toddlers. I know the basics just from being surrounded by parents who have the experience and my in laws are all teachers and parents as well so they’re required to have that knowledge. So I know the basics with emergency measures with choking especially.
