I am a 31yr old Christian woman seeking employment as a part time nanny. For as long as I can remember I had been helping in the nursery during church services. As years passed and my family moved to different churches I eventually became a manager of a church’s 2-5yr old program where I lead approximately 10 adults to help lead about 20-35 children. I had the responsibility of moving every small group of children to various learning activities including a lesson, craft, snack, play time, singing time, and other motor skill development activities. I was in charge of all disciplinary actions and working with parents to help every individual child with their own special special learning needs have fun, learn, and grow to be respectful listeners. I was also in charge of keeping every area safe for the children and taking care of every accident. I've always been told that I have a lot of patience and that I would make a wonderful mother. I have learned a great deal from my mentor who was my babysitter growing up that eventually became a director to a large day care center for 14yrs and the children's program that I personally aided in. While being a nanny I would help pick up groceries and medications for the children along with laundry and dishes. Any other questions are welcome.
