I spent 8 years babysitting my little brother and his friends, which I was paid for. This gave me a ton of hands on experience with children. I also spent some time helping out at a daycare center in Raleigh, NC before moving out here to PA. At the daycare center I was working with toddlers all the way up to 12 year old kids. We had a lot of regulars, but the main purpose of the daycare was for when you needed somewhere to take your children for a date night, errands, etc. So we welcomed children of all ages up to 12 years old. I've always been able to relate with children on their level and let them feel heard and help them to have fun. Whenever I'm at an event where there are children they always seem to flock to me, and I end up spending more Read more time with them than I do with the adults. And I like it that way. Kids are way less boring! I'm an expert pretend princess and I'm a pretend superhero on the side. I love the outdoors, and I love to do arts and crafts. I can meal prep, do light housework, help with homework, I'm VERY okay with pets as I live with my own zoo of animals. I live with three dogs, two cats, three birds, three turtles, and a bunch of fish. I've spent a lot of time watching my boyfriend's little nephew (unpaid, just as a favor), and I'll go ahead and count him in with the animals. He is one crazy little guy.
