Hello families! I am currently a college student studying to get my bachelor's in early childhood education! One out of the many reasons that I would love to be a sitter is to be able to build up the youth, and pour into them. I'd love to use my knowledge and be hands on in creative activities/ games while encouraging the children to use their vivid imaginations and ideas as well. I use Christian values, and I've been working with children in daycare centers since July of 2024. I am currently first aid and CPR certified, and while I am not certified in this area I do have experience with special needed children. I'm overall available to be a helping hand to your family!

I worked in a local childcare facility part-time for about 3 years. I was a teachers aide in the infant room. I attended continuing education classes in early childhood development and earned some certificates. I am trained in first aid and CPR. I have also worked at a before/after school program (2014-2015 school year) at a local elementary school as an assistant supervisor. I cared for two children in their home, but sadly this came to an end last August because they both started preschool. I have been with this family since July of 2012. We play, read and always have lots of fun. We also go outside and take walks if the weather cooperates. I prepare simple lunches for them and get the little girl down for a nap. I clean up any messes we make and also help out with the family's laundry. In addition, I occasionally take care of their two dogs when they go out of town.
