I preferr working out of my home verses working in public at this point. I always babysat when my older children were younger always having kiddos at our house. I am easy to get along with. Hi! My name is Jaedyn and I am currently a freshman at Pitt studying Psychology! I love kids and have over 9 years of experience. In addition to babysitting, I am willing to cook and help children with basic school work and bed time routines! I worked in a local childcare facility part-time for about 3 years. I was a teachers aide in the infant room. I attended continuing education classes in early childhood development and earned some certificates. I am trained in first aid and CPR. I have also worked at a before/after school program (2014-2015 school year) at a local elementary school as an assistant supervisor. I cared for two children in their home, but sadly this came to an end last August because they both started preschool. I have been with this family since July of 2012. We play, read and always have lots of fun. We also go outside and take walks if the weather cooperates. I prepare simple lunches for them and get the little girl down for a nap. I clean up any messes we make and also help out with the family's laundry. In addition, I occasionally take care of their two dogs when they go out of town. I like being a sitter because I like getting to know people and I like helping out the parents/family. I babysat kids as young as 2 and as old as 15. I used to babysit my siblings, family friends kids, and other family’s children. I do enjoy spending time with them and playing with them as well as taking care of them. I know how to easily calm kids down, I am patient and am not easily provoked, and I like to help children that struggle open up more and allow themselves to have fun.

I am a junior in college majoring in occupational therapy with a minor in psychology. I have 4 years of unpaid childcare experience and 3 years of paid experience.
