Hi- I’m Katie. Growing up I was the second oldest of 8 kids, and being an older sister gave me a love for children that in many ways shaped the trajectory of my life: In college I studied early elementary education and special education, before graduating with my bachelor’s degree. Since then, I have worked with kids in various childcare centers, in addition to tutoring and babysitting part-time. I am CPR/First-Aid certified, and have experience with all age levels from infant to elementary. I am fine with pets, I do not smoke, and I have many references upon request. My only “disclaimer” is that I do not have a car, so while I am always reliable in finding my own rides, I am looking to stay local to my area for jobs.
