I am college student at The George Washington University, studying to enter the health care field. I am the oldest in my family, so taking care of children has always been something I have done. I additionally have worked as a camp counselor for a couple different camps growing up. This past summer I supervised 3 children, from ages 6 to 8 before and after camp; ensured they ate breakfast, arrived at camp on time, were prepared for daily specific activities, and were picked up in a timely fashion. I monitored child with developmental issues during activity to ensure safety and fun for all 3 children; also provided extra support for him. I created fun activities during down time to occupy the children and make sure they had fun after camp. I also prepared dinner for children, and ran errands for the parents.
