love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Every child is unique, and I find it rewarding to build trust with them and support their development through play, structure, and care. It's meaningful work that allows me to make a positive difference in a family’s day-to-day life. I come from a big family and have been around kids for most of my life, which naturally helped me develop a love for caregiving at an early age. That experience shaped who I am and made me very comfortable and confident when working with children of all ages. I have about eight years of hands-on experience caring for children, from infants to pre-teens. I’ve worked in childcare centers with a variety of age groups—especially infants and toddlers—as well as directly with families through regular and occasional babysitting. Currently, I’m studying early childhood education and plan to continue my degree in special education, with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I’m comfortable with diaper changes, meal prep, homework help, and creative play. I’ve also handled situations like tantrums, sibling disagreements, and bedtime resistance with calmness and care. I'm trained in CPR and first aid, and I’ve taken courses in child development and safety. I’m a good communicator—responsible, patient, and very organized. I love engaging kids with fun, age-appropriate activities while also maintaining structure and gently reinforcing rules. I also have experience with allergy management and always prioritize following each family’s specific preferences and routines.
