Meet Abigail

Hi! I’m Abigail. I’ve been working with children in different ways for most of my life, and it’s something that has always come naturally to me. I started nannying as a teenager for a family with four kids in Pennsylvania, and that experience really shaped the way I care for children today. From helping with homework to organizing games to just being a steady, supportive presence, I learned early on how meaningful it is to create trust and consistency. A few years later, during COVID, I nannied for twin boys and their friend, juggling two families at once. I supported their online schooling, planned fun activities to keep their days bright, helped with groceries and light cleaning, and often stayed overnight. I became incredibly close with that family, and it reminded me how rewarding it is to truly become part of a child’s world. In addition to nannying, I’ve spent Read more years working with children through theatre and music. I’ve taught private vocal lessons, musical theatre classes, and worked with Music Together. After moving to NYC, I joined Treasure Trunk Theatre as an assistant and lead teacher, helping kids explore creativity and confidence through imaginative play. I also work as a birthday party princess, which has given me even more experience keeping kids engaged, excited, and comfortable in high-energy settings. I’m especially passionate about helping children build emotional regulation skills, encouraging creative expression, and forming genuine connections with both kids and parents. I believe childcare works best when everyone feels safe, supported, and like they’re part of a team. It truly takes a village, and I love being one of the people families can rely on.
