With eight years of experience working and volunteering in multiple settings for children and those with varying needs, I have garnered an appreciation for helping others learn and grow. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Every child is unique, and I love building connections with them, helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s reading stories, playing games, or helping with homework, I find a lot of joy in being someone they can trust and have fun with. It’s also rewarding to support parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. What experience do you have? I currently work at the Kids Klub at LA Fitness, where I care for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. These experiences have given me strong skills in supervision, engagement, and adapting to different children's needs and personalities. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

I have watched children from the age of infant to teenagers. I am 44 years old at this time. I was a nanny for years when I was in my early 20's. I have two teenage boys now. I am looking to get back into the workforce now.

I have worked in daycares and I know what they are like. Most of the time your children do not get supervised that well. I am a play outside kind of girl not on the screen all day.
