With eight years of experience working and volunteering in multiple settings for children and those with varying needs, I have garnered an appreciation for helping others learn and grow. I have worked with children ages 6 weeks old to 13 years old since I was 18 years old. I’ve worked in daycare centers, tutoring positions, and schools in my 6 years of experience. I'm 23 years old and have multiple years of experience in childcare. Both in professional and familial setting. As the oldest of a 7 childen household, my interest in childhood learning started extremely early. Most of my teenage years were spent having babysitting or housekeeping jobs while juggling AP classes and eventually college credits. In recent years I've still done the occasional babysitting. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

I have worked in daycares and I know what they are like. Most of the time your children do not get supervised that well. I am a play outside kind of girl not on the screen all day.

I love being a sitter because I love helping teach kids and helping them learn new things!
