I graduated from Lafayette College in 2020 with a BS in Neuroscience and I'm currently a few months away from receiving my MS in Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from American University. I'm a dedicated public servant who is looking forward to working within the public sector in the near future. I can provide numerous character references as requested from friends, family, previous employers, and other people who know me best. I'm currently seeking weekday positions so that I can have time to dedicate attention to my fiance who is an active duty Marine training down in Quantico, VA. I have a very patient, kind, and bubbly personality that has always been warmly received by parents and children alike. Something that sets me apart from other sitters is that I don't ever patronize children! I speak to them the same way I would speak to an adult, and they pick up on my genuine nature and respect me more. I love tutoring children in all school subjects (including foreign language), know my way around the kitchen (healthy snacks included!), and I'm in great physical shape (ran the half Ironman in September). When I'm at your residence, I take initiative to anticipate chores and complete them without you even needing to ask, and this can be verified by every single family I've ever worked with. I'm comfortable taking children to school, I know my way around carline and after-school sports processes, and generally have done it all except giving birth myself! I find myself working most often with children who are a little older (5+) and I truly love helping emerging teens navigate puberty and the nuances of middle school.
