I am a former student at Pitt studying linguistics with a focus in Spanish, Quechua (an Andean language), and Latin America. I have been working with children as a babysitter since I was 13 years-old and a swim instructor at Highlands Aqua Club from when I was 13-18, the Penn Hills YMCA from when I was 15-17 and the JCC from age 18 - current. I also lifeguards at a Girl Scout summer day camp and volunteered as an aide starting at age 12. I have my Pennsylvania child abuse clearances and my FBI clearances as well as being a certified lifeguard. I enjoy working with kids because it's always a new and exciting adventure and you never know what the day will bring whether it's a day exploring all the different types of life in the backyard or answering one of the big questions of childhood.
