My name is Bethany, I am 24 years old and I study psychology at Chatham University. I come from a large family and am used to the chaos of family life. I enjoy painting, reading, and gardening in my spare time. I live in Bloomfield/ Lawrenceville with my partner, seventy-some houseplants, two dogs and a cat. I have been babysitting as a part time job for the last four years. I have kept busy helping with homework, changing diapers and venturing on parent approved outings to playgrounds and libraries. My favorite thing about my job is engaging the children in meaningful activities that inspire their creativity. I like to tailor our activities to the interests of the children. We often find ourselves going on scavenger hunts, playing on playgrounds, reading, building forts, painting, drawing and dancing to the Raffi Pandora station.
