I began working with children as a camp counselor and tutor for school-age children. My most extensive experience, however, is as a teacher in early childhood settings. I taught preschool for one year after graduating from college. I adored it and pursued a Master Degree in Curriculum and Teaching (concentrating in Early Childhood and Early Special Education). I have taught preschool in various settings ever since my graduation in May of 2010. I have taught in special education classrooms, integrated classrooms, and general education classrooms. My teaching experience helps me weave structure, learning, discipline and fun into my babysitting:)

I don't even know where to start other than hire her, you won't regret it! Katrina looked after my daughter for three months (3p - 7p, 5 days a week) before we moved to the west coast. Katrina's main responsibilities included picking my daughter up from school, prepping and feeding her dinner, and getting her ready for bed. Katrina was very dependable, responsible, patient, nurturing, and a whole lot of fun! She taught my two-year old all the colors of the rainbow (roy g. biv) and would approach every new day with a new story or game to play. She is a treasure!
