I am an experienced babysitter, nanny and tutor for full or part-time work in Philadelphia. I recently finished my Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania, and spent the summer teaching at an online summer camp for high school students. I am considering returning to school again for an MSW, with the long-term goal of practicing psychotherapy, potentially with children and adolescents. Before moving to Philadelphia for graduate school, I was living in Chicago and nannying for a few different families. I spent three years working as a nanny and babysitter, and the children I took care of ranged in age from 6 months to 11 years. As the middle child of a large family, I both love the company of children and am capable of calmly and patiently handling any situation they might throw my way. My favorite things to do with children are creative; I love Read more to draw and paint, do crafts, cook and bake, and read aloud with them. I take a very gentle approach with kids, and really try to meet them at their level. I am able to provide homework help, remote learning support, tutoring, and/or art lessons in addition to childcare. I am very cautious about Covid-19 and hope that we can communicate openly and honestly about the precautions we are both taking, and what expectations we have for each other around social distancing, mask usage, etc.
