I received my Infant-Toddler CDA (Child development Associate Certification) this past June 2017. I am also CPR & First Aide Trained. I have many interests and surely there are new ones being added. I enjoy arts&crafts, song writing, running and discovering new things. As my experience goes with children, I have provided care for children between just two months old to 12 years old. I've provided for one child at a time as well as I have had five children all at one time. I am very open minded. I believe this allows me to be creative and create activities that interest children. I enjoy going outside or staying inside for an imaginative Tea Party. An image of how I interact with children would be : sometimes parents return home to find their child and I in a spaceship (under the table) or having a pretend kitchen disaster (who put Read more spaghetti in my hat?!) As I have mentioned, I have provided care for Infant to 12 years olds. My pretend games may not interest ages 9 to 12 but if they love to play with their younger siblings, they often play along. My way of interacting with older children is by helping with projects and participating in their interest as well as introducing them to new interest. I have a belief that not every person is the same and what I may like, my friend may not like, and that is okay!
