Hello! Ever since I turned 13, I have been babysitting for my brothers and sisters, and a couple other families I am acquainted with. One family, in particular, I have gained most of my babysitting experience with. I have babysat for the family on many occasions; I even accompanied them on one vacation and several day trips. My experience includes bathing the children, fixing small meals, playing games, helping with homework, and tucking them into bed for naps and at night. I have slept over night with the children and even invited them to my own house for sleepovers - what fun!! I have babysat babies and young children between the ages of 3 months and 8 years, and have babysat up to 5 children at a time. Currently, I am working a part time job in retail. I feel this job has given me much experience in dealing with Read more people, responding to them, meeting their needs, keeping them happy, and offering an all around great experience! However, I wish to get back to babysitting more full time. I love spending time helping people, and while a job in customer care might seem ideal, I have always been so fond of babysitting and always had the desire to be a nanny. I love working with children and many of the children I babysit have come to feel like family to me. While I don't have a professional certification or degree, I believe I have the experience it would take to love and provide for any child who is put in my care.
