Growing up in a neighborhood full of children gave me many opportunities to babysit and experience children of all ages. To date my paid experience was babysitting an 8y/o girl and a 10y/o boy for a summer. The schedule included me driving them to and from summer activities, enforcing a chore/activity schedule, and engaging in many outdoor games. I loved this experience so much and have a lot of energy to give to young kids that love playing. I also have worked with kids in my local dance studio. I have taught children from the ages of 3-15, and especially love the little ones. Further, during a study abroad trip to South Africa, I volunteered at an elementary school where I helped teach Xhosa-speaking children to read, write and speak English. The children at the school were 5-8, so we played many games, sang songs, and had lots of laughs.
