I am a current University of the Arts sophomore BFA Dance major and Musical Theater minor. I am seeking a babysitting job for the upcoming school year. This semester I am finished with classes on Tues/Thurs at 2:30pm and at 4:30pm on Fridays. Mon/Wed are my busiest days but on a Wed I don't start classes until 1pm. I'm free on Sat/Sun but will eventually have later morning or early afternoon rehearsals for a few hours. My evenings will be free. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and am certified through Lehigh Valley Hospital Safe Sitter program. I babysat many neighborhood children. Everything from parent date nights to daily summer babysitting. I am a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. This summer I attended the American Dance Festival held at Duke University in Durham, NC on full scholarship. In exchange for my scholarship I was Read more one of four students who ran the daycare for faculty children for two months. In addition to setting up the daycare prior to the kickoff of ADF, I watched two children (less than 18 months old) each day. I was responsible for ensuring they napped, took them to the park, fed them lunch, and of course had fun! Some days I also had a 6-year-old to watch in addition to the toddlers. I am looking for either a regular babysitting position that would fit with my hectic class and rehearsal schedule, or for occasional date-nights, etc. in the Philadelphia Avenue of the Arts area.
