Hi im reek. I recently left my full time job of the last 5 years and I am looking to get back into part time child care work. Most recently I was working for a non profit servicing youth and young adults. I have experience being a nanny, and occasional babysitter. I have the most experience nannying for infants and toddlers, however I have cared for children ages 0-13. I help with raising my nephew who is four years old, we lived with each other the first two years of his life so I'm very experienced with around the clock care for an infant. I've been babysitting since the age of 14, and have always been a caretaker amongst friends and family. I love spending time with children, and being attentive to how crucial their early stages of development are. Some of my responsibilities im comfortable with included cooking, some Read more light cleaning, laundry, bathing, walking and feeding pets, and running errands with the children I was caring for. We often went for walks, to local parks, and on occasion more adventurous field trips around town. I'm comfortable with caring for up to three children a time, depending on ages and needs. I enjoy reading, crafting, painting and drawing with children at all ages, I'm enthusiastic about being involved in a hands on approach to playing and engaging with children, and really forming a trusting communicative relationship with the families I work with. I'm especially interested in working with queer and or trans families. I've previously been first aid and cpr certified and I am working on updating those certifications as soon as possible. I have a valid FBI fingerprint criminal background and child abuse check that I would be happy to provide.
