Hello! My name is Lacey :) I am a 24 year old elementary substitute teacher (so I have background checks and clearances which I can provide you with). I have been working with children in different capacities since the age of 13, in schools and out of schools. Educational background: I received my BA in theatre and studied on the elementary education track at Muhlenberg College. I received my M.S.Ed in Reading, Writing, & Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education in May of 2023. Before college I was a babysitter for kids of all ages, including infancy, and a student teacher for years at my local synagogue. In college I worked for KiddieCorp during the summer, had many fieldwork experiences where I went into elementary schools and worked with students, and during one summer I worked at a center for early childhood development. For grad school Read more fieldwork, I was in a 1st grade classroom, with the librarian/reading specialist in a k-8 school, and then a reading specialist intern at a k-5 school. If you need a fun weekend or nighttime sitter, or even a tutor, I'm your girl! I have a dog of my own so I am very comfortable with pets, and would be happy to bring mine if your kids ever need some fur-baby time!
