Hi, my name is Stefanie, I am 23 years old and a current graduate student at Temple University in the Counseling Psychology Program! I am fully vaccinated and practice safe social distancing when necessary. I have an abundance of experience working with children ages 5 months to 14 years old. Most recently I was a full time nanny for a 6 month old girl and a four year old boy. We took walks to the park, rode bikes, completed puzzles and educational books which included learning numbers, letters, and colors. We baked sweet treats, completed projects and engaged in imaginative play. I provided light housekeeping such as washing dishes, folding laundry, and meal/snack preparation. I interned with Jumpstart Philadelphia, a preschool program that focuses on social emotional language and learning in preschool students. I am currently completing a masters level internship as a therapist at a high school in North Read more Philadelphia. I am very comfortable engaging in conversations with young children about feelings and teaching children how to use words rather than actions! I have also worked as an after school counselor for preschool and kindergarten students at a private school in Chestnut Hill. I lead the students in various activities such as snack time, reading, writing, arts and crafts, and sports. I continue to stay very active and love engaging in outdoor activities with children.
