Hello! I am currently a student at Temple University and am looking for a part-time or full-time position to help a family and care for their little ones. At university, I am majoring in public health with a minor in communication and activism. I see myself working as an educator to end mental health stigmas and work to create a more understanding and open health system. My goal is to oversee hospitals and practices to ensure that every person is being treated how they properly should be and be able to educate doctors, counselors, professors, teachers and parents and share my knowledge to help end all stigmas. Being a public health major, I am very aware of how serious the COVID-19 pandemic is and am taking every precaution in order to stay healthy and I expect the same from families in return. I have experience with babysitting children with Type Read more 1 diabetes as I am a diabetic myself. In high school, my nurse knew of a 6 year old boy whose parents were looking for someone to babysit him and his little brother but wanted the babysitter to understand diabetes to its full extent. I gladly took the offer and have been interested in babysitting/nannying ever since. I also have past experience as a receptionist for about 4 years as well as working the register at an ice cream shop when I was in high school. I have experience running after school programs and taking head roles in clubs and organizations. I also did some hospital volunteer work in the radiology department as well. Besides school and caring for kids, my other hobbies include music, animals, cooking, and reading healthcare books. I would absolutely love to be a sitter because kids always bring up my mood and I feel I can be a great role model and friend to them!
