Hey, there! I'm excited to start this journey with you and your family. I'm a master's student at UPenn, and I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I am fully COVID-19 vaccinated and stay current on my flu shots. Most recently, I babysat a 4-year-old prior to starting my master's at Penn. Prior to this, I worked full-time at a residential (live-in) mental health treatment center for children/adolescents. I did everything from therapeutic programs to homework help and getting ready in the morning! Before this, I nannied two children--ages 9 and 11. I also babysat a toddler (18 months old) and two boys (ages 7 and 11). While pursuing my bachelor's, I volunteered with Homeless Children Playtime project in DC. We engaged in "playtime" activities for small children (ages 6 and under) as an intervention to reduce the impact of trauma. A little about me: My name means Read more "Brings joy" in my family's language/culture, Yoruba! I'm very adventurous (not the most athletic but I can/will go outside with your kids). I enjoy learning about how people "tick"--fun fact: my first degree was in psychology. I'm currently studying policy & data analysis at Penn. I also love Greek mythology. The money I earn goes toward being a less broke graduate student :) I prefer date night, weekend, and/or overnight scheduling. I am experienced in jobs requiring meal prep, homework help, and crafts. I do not have a car, and I live in Philly. So, unfortunately, I must consider commute cost/time for jobs. I also do typically not accept jobs less than 3 hours just to account for commute cost/time. Let's do this!
