Hello! My name is Maame but everyone calls me Akua! I am a junior Political Science major at Temple University. I am originally from Prince George's County Maryland. I have worked as a babysitter for La Fitness Kids Klub for 2 years watching 10+ children at a time. I have had a year of experience working for 2 individual families. My mother has been a nanny for over 20 years and I've always helped her throughout her years of working. I have always had a passion for childcare and working with children as individuals. Maame (Akua) is an amazing babysitter! I was very nervous at first because I've never had anyone babysit my kids other than family. Akua made all my worries disappear. On her first day she showed up with ingredients to bake brownies, uno cards, and a speaker. She danced and laughed with my kids and encouraged them to make desert for my husband and I when we got home. Granted she ended up putting the most effort in to making the brownies than my kids but they had a blast with her. She always has a smile on her face and a new song she's dying to play for the kids. If you're reading this, just hire her, you won't regret it!
