I'm a 25-year-old first year grad student who has been babysitting and nannying for eleven years. I've worked with children as young as three months, and as old as twelve. I have worked with multiple families over the course of my time babysitting, which resulted in a summer nannying job for a seven and 10-year-old. Roughly two years ago, I served with a branch of AmeriCorps centered around mentoring and tutoring youth. Since then, I have worked with inner-city youth aged 5 to 12-years-old at both a summer camp and after school program. Last summer I participated in international peace camp for 11-year-olds in Sweden through a national run program called CISV, and I will lead again this summer. There, I set up a culturally aware environment to promote openness and curiosity about differences, provided protection and care for forty-four 11-year olds in a foreign country, and designed global education Read more and peace workshops with adult co-leaders . I'm currently attending Pitt to obtain my master's in social work. I would be interested in finding families that would need care throughout the month of May until I head out for the rest of the summer in early June. Gabrielle has been wonderful addition to our lives. So far she has sat for a us a couple of times. She's friendly, completely at ease and appropriate with children, timely and reliable. I feel so comfortable having her care for my child. Best of all, my daughter has really taken to her, sometimes asking for Gabby out of the blue.

I could not have asked for more in a caregiver for my two young children (2 and 4). Gabby has been sitting for us a few hours a day for several weeks now. She is always on time and always responsive to email. She steps right into our crazy morning routine and immediately begins playing with the kids and helping with breakfast, without any prompting. The kids both love her. She clearly has a gift with little ones. She is also bright and a delight to talk with as an adult.
