I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois and moved to Pittsburgh at the age of 11. I am a Licensed Social Worker and I currently work as a Behavioral Health Therapist in an elementary school for children in grades K-5 in Woodland Hills SD. I am also currently working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, which is a goal I hope to accomplish some time in 2025. I have worked as a caseworker for Allegheny County Children, Youth, and Families and also as a caseworker for Adult Protective Services. I am a graduate of Pitt-Greensburg, with a bachelors of science in Natural sciences. During my time as an MSW student at the University of Pittsburgh, I interned at Pace School and Family Resources Therapeutic Pre-School for a total of over 1,000 hours. I have other paid experience working with children for ATTAIN ABA; Jovie (formerly College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors of Read more North Pittsburgh); I was once a contracted tutor through Grade Potential Tutoring; I worked as an after school program coordinator for Mount Ararat Community Activity Center, working at Obama Middle School; I was also an after school classroom teacher for Mount Ararat a community Activity Center for some weeks, before finding employment with the county. I began babysitting at the age of eleven and I can definitely say that being around children is the reason why I am happy about my current position. I feel as though I'm at my best with children because of my Empathetic and altruistic nature.
