Hello! My name is Kate and I'm 31 years old. I just moved to Pittsburgh from New York City and am getting settled in and currently have quite a bit of time on my hands while I do so. In 2012, I graduated with a masters degree in library science with a concentration in children and young adult services. For the past 8 years, I've been working in children's publishing in New York. Prior to this position, I was an Assistant Preschool teacher in Arlington, Virginia, and a substitute preschool teacher near my college in Ithaca, New York. I've been babysitting since I was a teenager and have also spent time tutoring middle school students in English. I have a very easy time connecting with children and I love being active, so I have no problem keeping up with them.
