Hello! My name is Samantha DeConciliis. I am a second year teacher at The Academy Charter School. I grew up in Bethel Park, and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Secondary English Education. In addition, I obtained an Autism Endorsement last summer, and I begin graduate classes in the fall to obtain a Masters of English. During college, I spent my summers as a camp counselor for the YMCA. One of my favorite experiences was finding out my campers' interests and developing games or activities that appeal to their strengths. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, acting, singing, working out, cooking, and planning my upcoming wedding! I love to create fun plays and skits with the children I babysit.
