Hi! My name is Kara, I am 24 years old. I have been a babysitter for the past 12 years and began serving as a professional full time nanny in Pittsburgh during my summers home from college. I am currently living in Mt. Washington, but grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. A little bit of my experience & history: I began babysitting & being a mother's helper when I was around the age of 12 for many different families. I started as a professional full time nanny to a newborn baby boy in the summer of 2012. This was a M-F 7AM-6PM job. I am now a full time nanny to a 4 year old and a 12 month old. I started with them when the older boy was 3 and the younger one was about 2 months. My duties include meal prep such as breakfast, lunch and Read more snacks, driving the older one to and from school, educational activities with both children, playing outside, meeting parents for the children's doctors appointments, etc. We enjoy doing activities like the Science Center, Children's Museum, going to the pool in the summer, the park and many more. I also have an eight year old brother, who I have had alone under my care many times since he was a newborn. I have no problem doing fun and engaging activities with toddlers and children, going to parks, helping with homework, etc. I am happy to provide references as well as meet or chat on the phone.
